Mr. I.G. Chinthaka Chandrakumara is a Senior Lecturer attached to the Department of Educational Psychology, Faculty of Education, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. He has also served as Head of the Department of Educational Psychology at the faculty. He holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree.
His teaching and research interests lie primarily in educational measurement and assessment, blended assessment, educational psychology, and counseling. Much of his recent academic work focuses on authentic assessment in teacher education, including studies on improving authentic assessment competencies of pre-service teacher trainees and the opportunities and challenges of online assessment modules in teacher training.
